SURVIVAL DURING 20^TH CENTURY

Late 20^th century brought many revolutionary changes in the field of science and technology and brought great ease in the life of humans.

But

Here arises a question in people’s minds that how the survival of living beings was possible before the technology?

WAS THERE A COMPLETE PEACE BEFORE THE CHANGES OCCUR IN THE FIELD OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY?

First of all, the reason behind this question is that how? how people survive without any technology as world war 1 and 2 also took place in this century.

DISASTERS DURING 20th CENTURY.

1- WARS

The biggest disaster that the world has faced during the 20^th century was world wars.

First of all the main thing in any country is its economy. During war days economy of the respective country collapses. All business and daily life activities shut down. Life ceases.

The same happens during World War 1 which began in 1914 and ended in 1918.During the conflict Germany

, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire fought against Great Britain

, France, Russia, Italy, Japan, and the United States.

Effects of World War 1

As we know every picture has a dark as well as the bright side.

With a lot of deaths during war days, there was an outbreak of many diseases that created a very bad impact on society. Survival during war days become very tough as there was a downfall in the economy and also there was no special technology before this. People of those eras suffered a lot.

But the bright side of the world war 1 is remaining. The end of the world war 1 was a turning point for the world. After the war people started traveling towards different communities, many new things were invented, the economy was getting better day by day.

2- FAMINES

Different countries had faced a great famine during the 20^th century. Countries like China, Ethiopia , India had suffered a lot during these famines.

3- EARTHQUAKES

Several countries like Italy, China, Peru had faced deadly earthquakes.

4- OTHERS

Many other disasters had also occurred like flood drought and epidemic.

SURVIVAL OF PEOPLE DURING ALL THESE DISASTERS.

The major strategy that the people followed during these disasters were communication.

They communicated with each other and made different plans to overcome difficulties. They had not the technologies as we have today but they still survived. They follow all the advice given by their heads and the plans that were supposed to be useful during disasters.

Although they had faced many tough times yet they left very useful rules for their coming generation that how to overcome difficulties without any technology.

20^TH century had a successful film industry, many folk tails had been said, people had changed their lifestyles, the space race was started. Fantasy world raised high sky in this century. The 20^th century had a great achievement in the nuclear field.
